**Job Summary**:
The Accounting Manager will plan and direct the accounting activities of the department.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
- Manages accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
- Recruits and hires accounting and financial personnel and conducts performance evaluations.
- Coordinates training programs for new staff and identifies employee training needs.
**Duties and responsibilities**:
- Establishes internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
- Oversees the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts and annual budgets.
- Oversees the production of periodic financial reports; ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; submits the annual corporate tax return.
- Audits accounts to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinates with external auditors and provides information necessary for the annual external audit.
- Presents recommendations to general management on short and long-term financial objectives and policies.
- Provides financial analysis with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions and contract negotiations.
- Ensures compliance with local, state and federal government requirements.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
- Guarantee that both income and expenditure of money have been duly recorded.
- Prepare tax returns and identify potential tax reductions and deductibles.
- Advise on financial matters, such as business improvements, cost reduction, insolvencies, among others.
- Payroll management.
- Manage financial records, systems and budgets.
- Analyze accounting records.**Additional tasks**:

- Complete knowledge about accounting standards and skills (MX GAAP and IFRS)

**Education and experience**:
- Degree and certificate in Accounting are required.
- Eight or more years of experience in the financial sector is required, such as finance companies, SOFOME'S, Leasing Companies, etc.**We offer**:
