Accounting Manager

The RoleThe Accounting Manager is responsible for leading a team to provide day to day General Accounting and period closing operations.Responsible for month end activities**Responsibilities**:Manage and supervise activities such as period end close entries:Journal entries, intercompany accounting, ledger reconciliationsPrepare various month end reports for management reviewOverview monthly/quarterly/ yearly book closure activities such as bank reconciliations, Ledger reconciliations, outstanding liabilities etc.Identify probable hindrances to achieving SLA compliance and inform the manager in advanceSLA complianceDrive Improvement OpportunitiesQualifications and**Required Skills**:Essential:Bilingual Spanish and English (Oral and Written) - MUSTAccounting / Commerce / Finance/ Business Administration Graduate / PostgraduateCertified Public Accountant is an added an added advantageAbove 8 years of experienceAbility to manage a team of 8- associates along with independent deliveryTechnical Expertise of general accounting processes as per the applicable GAAPWorking knowledge of various ERPsDesired:Good analytical and communication skillsHigh energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountabilityGood Oral and written communications skills in English.Knowledge of various tools used in general accounting process
