Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Accounting Manager.
**What you'll do**:
**Job Summary**
This position is an Manager role on the Regional Controller team for the Division. An Accounting and Controls Manager is a professional who plays a crucial role in a company's financial management and internal control processes.The primary responsibilities are to provide leadership of the accounting function for the ensuring accurate financial reporting, ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will support the standardization and optimization of financial processes within this division, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with the Controllership (Global Financial Services & Systems and Global Financial Accounting).**Responsibilities**:
- Principal responsibility for all closing, accounting, and reporting for the sites
- Statutory reporting and administration for the sites
- Adherence to all US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained
- Manager and develop a team of finance professional, providing guidance, training, and development, fostering a collaborate high performance work environment
- Evaluates requirements and provides data for audits (both internal and external) or controls validations.
- Support all strategic projects within the sites and division such as tax, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects
- Partner with sites operations and global support centers
- Execute separation of accounting and FP&A roles
- Support future business transitions of accounting and controls processes and work to the Controllership and Centers of Excellence
- Ethical standards must be always maintained
- Provides all resources needed to ensure that all MESH policies and procedures are performed by all direct reports"

**Qualifications**:
**Education level required**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 10+ years of experience
**Years and area of experience required**
- 3-7 years varied accounting/finance experience
**Skills**:
**Technical knowledge**
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
**Soft skills**
- Well-versed in business ethics and internal control best practices
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills.
- Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter professional proficiency level in English
