**Accounting Manager**

Manage the entire accounting cycle of the company; controlling the finances and safeguarding the assets and accounting files.
**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIERED TRAINING**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Financial Management.
- Master's in Finance and Taxes, or related areas (preferable).
- Complementary training in all the processes that correspond to the accounting cycle.
- 8 years of experience in leadership positions within the accounting area.
- Minimum 5 years as Accounting Manager.
- Experience in the Free Zone (preferable).
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Advanced command of the English language.
- High knowledge in the Office package.
- Management of the Office package (Advanced Excel).
- Advanced knowledge about tax laws.
- Advanced knowledge about SOXS.
- Intermediate knowledge on cost accounting.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION(S)**:

- Responsible for the preparation and administration of the company's annual budget.
- To ensure the reliability of accounting records through the correct use of accounting accounts and cost centers.
- Verify the monthly reconciliations of the different accounts of the balance sheet.
- Preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordination of the financial external audit, ensuring that the company is prepared and with the necessary documentation for the corresponding purposes.
- Ensure that the closing is carried out on the established date.
- Ensure compliance with the tax payment process.
