Descripción y detalle de las actividadesJob Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all accounting activities within the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is crucial for providing timely and accurate financial information to senior management for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting Supervision: - Lead and supervise the accounting team. - Ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. 2. Financial Reporting: - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 3. Budgeting and Financial Planning: - Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and continuously monitor budget variances. - Analyze and report budget variances, proposing corrective measures when necessary. 4. Compliance and Audits: - Ensure compliance with all tax and legal regulations. - Coordinate and manage internal and external audits. 5. Process Improvement: - Identify and implement improvements in accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. 6. Vendor and Client Management: - Oversee the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Maintain relationships with banks, external auditors, and other financial service providers. 7. Support to Senior Management: - Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making. - Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive financial view of the company's operations.Experiência y requisitosRequirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Finance or MBA is preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent. - Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations. Experience with accounting software and ERP systems. - Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong oral and written communication skills.
