This role is crucial for providing timely and accurate financial information to senior management for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: 1. Accounting Supervision: - Lead and supervise the accounting team. - Ensure accurate and timely execution of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. 2. Financial Reporting: - Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 3. Budgeting and Financial Planning: - Coordinate the preparation of the annual budget and continuously monitor budget variances. - Analyze and report budget variances, proposing corrective measures when necessary. 4. Compliance and Audits: - Ensure compliance with all tax and legal regulations. - Coordinate and manage internal and external audits. 5. Process Improvement: - Identify and implement improvements in accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures. 6. Vendor and Client Management: - Oversee the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Maintain relationships with banks, external auditors, and other financial service providers. 7. Support to Senior Management: - Provide financial analysis and support for strategic decision-making. - Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive financial view of the company's operations.Experiência y requisitosRequirements: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Finance or MBA is preferred. - Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. - Certifications: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent. - Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
