**Job Summary**:
The Accounting Manager will oversee accounting and finance for 3-5 clients, ensure the timely completion of financial tasks, and provide mentorship to Senior Associates.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Review of tasks completed by Senior Associates and Associates, using an analytical perspective to identify errors and/or other areas requiring correction and/or optimization.
Managers are responsible for ensuring following objectives are achieved on a timely basis:
All activities necessary to achieve a monthly or quarterly general ledger close, including review and approval of journal entries.
Preparation of financial statements and supplemental schedules.
Preparation of custom financial reports.
Provide support to external parties completing audit and tax deliverables.
Oversee treasury services and ensure timely payment of bills prior to the due dates.
Liaison with asset managers to ensure financial data is consistent with operational data.
Managers will typically manage between three to five clients.
Clients are owners of renewable assets who are utilizing Radian Generation as a third-party asset manager.
Managers will serve as the primary client contact for deliverables, questions, and other communications.
Manage workstreams over both short and long-term timelines and provide direction to direct reports on the prioritization of tasks to achieve those timelines.
Perform research into technical GAAP questions and identify appropriate treatment when applicable.
Provide mentorship for Senior Associates.
Managers will provide recurring feedback to Senior Associates to promote development and/or resolve performance issues, if relevant.
Managers will be supervising between three to four individuals on an ongoing basis.
Additional tasks as needed.
Preferred Experience
Minimum 5-6 years working in an accounting and/or finance role, with a preference for individuals with at least two years' experience working with a public accounting firm
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., minimum expectation is a strong familiarity with basic formulas such as VLOOKUP and SUMIF; preference for more advanced familiarity such as proficiency with PivotTables, INDEX/MATCH formulas, etc.)
Required Qualification & Education
The minimum required qualification for this position is as follows:
BA/BS in a financial discipline (Accounting, Finance)
While the four-year degree minimum is a required statute, non-financial specific four-year degrees (e.g., business administration) are acceptable if the required experience has been attained, most notably if public accounting experience is attained.

**Technical Knowledge**: Proficiency with GAAP and capable of researching answers in authoritative literature
Strong GAAP knowledge over a variety of core accounting topics (e.g., revenue recognition, leases), and a well-practiced ability to research questions against authoritative literature
Managers will be expected to attend internal and external trainings and/or conferences to deepen their GAAP knowledge on a recurring basis.
Preferred Skills & Competencies
CPA
Experience working with a U.S based company is preferred.
