Job TitleGeneral Accounting & Reporting Senior AssociateReports toTeam LeadThe RoleThe reporting Associate is responsible for day to day activities of General Accounting and Reporting.
Responsible for period end activities.ResponsibilitiesPrimary Duties:Perform activities such as period end close entries, intercompany accounting, ledger reconciliationsPass journal entries as per the agreed SLAs and month end checklistPerform fixed assets (Additions/ deletions/ Scrap/ Depreciation) recording and accounting as per the relevant Accounting regulationsAssisting in preparing various month end reports for management reviewAssist in other monthly/quarterly/ yearly book closure activities such as Bank Reconciliation, Stock ReconciliationAssist in Chart of Accounts MaintenanceAssist in performing variance analysisSecondary Duties:SLA complianceProcess ImprovementsQualifications andEssential:Bilingual Spanish and English (Oral and Written) - MUST**Required Skills**:Accounting / Commerce / Finance/ Business Administration Graduate / Postgraduate2-4 years of experience in the similar process with relevant industryAbility to perform as a team member and gel well with teamsWorking knowledge of general accounting processes as per the applicable GAAPWorking knowledge of various ERPsDesired:Good analytical and communication skillsHigh energy, self-motivation with a high degree of accountabilityGood Oral and written communications skills in English.Knowledge of various tools used in general accounting process
