Write the next chapter of your ABB story.This position reports toFinancial SpecialistYour role and responsibilitiesAs a FP&A analyst, you will provide financial and control expertise to the NEMA (MONM) in GDL, Mexico, benchmarking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) while working with other finance professionals to understand the drivers of financial/manufacturing performance, identifying trends relevant to the business. In this position, your tasks will include but are not limited to: expense analysis and understanding where information is coming from and making sure that what is reported in the P&L ties to the reality of the operation in the factory. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid. This role is contributing to the NEMA Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Mexico. You will be mainly accountable for:Understanding expense in the P&L, what causes it and how to manage it.Follow up on hourly rates (STD vs Actual) in different departments (direct, indirect, salary).Understand and plan yearly expenses, in order to deliver an accurate budget and forecast.Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.Full responsibility for the Expense associated portion of a P&L.Assist in the development and implementation of expense control measures.Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses.Create variance analysis reports and financial models.Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives.Inter Company reconciliation (ensure no variances vs IC).Qualifications for the roleBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.+4 years of experience in FP&A and/or cost accounting position.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and data accurately.Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of numerical data.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Have a positive attitude and actively seek ways to help employees and the company.Self-motivated and a team player with the ability to be flexible to changing business needs.What's in it for you?Evolve in your career: through trainings and our Open Job Market, your career development continues!Get exposed to cutting-edge technology in Motion and have a visible impact on the future.Our people are at the core of what we do - help them develop and grow
