Global Logistics company is looking for their Guadalajara (Zapopan) branch the position of **Accounting Specialist / Bookkeeper.**

will be responsible for general accounting tasks such as booking vendor payments, preparing payments, VAT reporting, and reconciliations. Preparing external reporting, employee expenses, and tracking petty cash. This position will assist in various administrative activities as required for the branch as well as maintaining the office supplies.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Data entry of invoices for other entities within the group.
- Monthly bank statements and bank reconciliation.
- Receive and audit vendor invoices.
- Book vendor invoices and prepare payments.
- Prepare for external accountant VAT reporting.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations.
- Obtain approval for payment.
- Employee expenses and petty cash.
- Escalation to management of all financial open issues.
- Monitor office supply levels and re-order as necessary.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist/Clerk/Bookkeeper.

**-English speaking ability at Advanced level (required)**
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of MS Excel (intermediate to advanced), Word and PowerPoint software.
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- High level of confidentiality.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills with the ability to grasp extensive knowledge while dealing with a variety of people.

**Economical Offer**
- Salary: Starting with $30,000 MXN per month - before taxes
- Benefits based on Mexican Law
- Insurance of Major Medical Expenses
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
