**Summary**:
The Corporate Accounting Specialist plays a crucial role in our dynamic hotel management company by ensuring accurate financial transactions, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. This position involves managing various accounting tasks related to multiple hotel properties, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Review and approve invoices for payment, verifying coding and proper authorization.
- Input invoices and process payments in a timely manner.
- Conduct training sessions for property leaders on AP input processes and procedures. Provide ongoing support and guidance to property leaders to ensure consistent and accurate AP data entry.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support decision-making.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for all transactions. Reconcile accounts regularly to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Implement and manage chargebacks reporting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze chargeback data to identify trends and recommend improvements in processes.
- Set and work towards achieving a 100% response rate across all Arbor Lodging hotels.
- Strive for high reversal rates by proactively addressing financial discrepancies and chargebacks.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA or MBA a plus
- Hospitality or Real Estate experience a plus
- M3 and Hotel PMS system experience a plus
- Superior ability to prioritize and focus in a high-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Superior communications skills
- Cooperative team player and ability to work independently

- Assist in on-time delivery of accurate financial packages for the assigned properties
- Low error rates and overall quality of work output
