Does that sound like you?About the Job:As an Accounting Specialist I, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processes for both US and Canadian employees. Your responsibilities will include posting and analyzing salary uploads, managing payroll accountability, and ensuring compliance with global financial policies. You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement improvements in account reconciliations, and support audits by working directly with auditors. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work and has a strong understanding of payroll and reconciliation processes.In your future role as Accounting Specialist I you will:Post and analyze salary uploads for payroll processing.Manage payroll accountability and benefits for both US and Canada employees.Ensure compliance with global financial policies, effectively communicating with stakeholders.Implement improvements in account reconciliations to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Provide direct support to Fernando with payroll tasks and audits.Conduct thorough account reconciliations.Collaborate with auditors and stakeholders, ensuring smooth audit processes.Handle US and Canadian payroll operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.We believe you bring:Bachelor's degree (Licenciatura) in Accounting (required).Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).3-5 years of experience in operational accounting, with a strong focus on US payroll processes.Solid knowledge of accounting practices in ERP systems, preferably SAP (strongly preferred).Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ADP (nice-to-have).Audit experience and the ability to confidently work with auditors (strongly preferred).This position is fully onsite at our corporate office in the Insurgentes area, Mexico City.Please submit your resume in English when applying.Good to know:Please apply via our online recruitment system.
