Core Responsibilities The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 locations: Monterrey, Kladno and Singapore. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years.
Delivering a successful, customer service culture within the AR departmentManage debt collection for all Americas. You will be responsible in ensuring all the daily transactional tasks are completed on time and support the Team Lead in handling other ad-hoc tasks. Follow up on overdue and collection.Advise payment allocation.Fronting Customers to resolve dispute and payment issues.Ability to release order according to policies.Monitoring of Credit Limit Utilization (for order release purpose)Sending of Weekly Aging Report to partnersReconciliation of customer accountsFollow up on CTT; Claims & Deduction issues.Collection Worklist (including pre-collection) in SAPPrepare and sending of Statement of AccountsProvision calculations check (doubtful & bad debt) – adjustments.Credit Risk Wheel involvement (to highlight on collection issues)Outsource to 3rd Party Collection Agencies / LawyersDebtor Reporting & Control Tool tasksAccountable for: Providing advice to Sales/Country/General Manager with regards to payment risks of customersProviding recommendation to Finance Business Partners in managing the Accounts Receivable Aging and risks exposureEnsuring the aging and bad debts of your Markets are meeting the critical metrics and coordinating the corrective actions to support/back-up the AR ManagersPerforming optimization initiatives across different functional areas regionally and globally and ensuring compliance of company policies and proceduresBuilding and fostering strong strategic relationships with senior partners and demanding customers to meet their needs o Exploring ways to alleviate the service level for Order to Cash with the key partners.Ready to really commit to create service differentiation.Take initiative to provide the service through the understanding of customer needs and values.Building and strengthening professional network globallyDriving process simplification and lead the implementation of regional and global standardization as a Regional Functional Team LeadPlay your part in our team succeeding.To support the LEGO Group with consistent, high quality and customer-oriented execution of AR processes and partner management, and thereby enable the BSO to succeed in delivering great value to the LEGO organization.
The Senior Specialist plays an important role in establishing a sustainable AR department in the BSO. We need employees all eager to engage actively in building a successful department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality, and fun in the everyday life.
Do you have what it takes?Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Administration or related.+4 years' experience in similar positions.Microsoft Office at advance experienced levelAnalytical, detail - and high-quality orientedBe robust, resilient and ability to embrace changes, as well as having a proactive mind with a can-do attitude.Personal drive and initiative, excellent collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with assigned business areas or other key collaborators.SAP experience is preferred.Preferably proven working experience in international accounting environment.Audit experience is an advantage.Advanced English spoken & written.What's in it for you?
