We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to manage all aspects of our accounting function.Job Summary:The Accounting Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations. This includes managing a team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all relevant accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a manufacturing environment and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections. Ensure efficient and accurate processing within a manufacturing context.Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including cost accounting elements relevant to a manufacturing environment (work in process, finished goods).Reconcile bank statements monthly and identify and resolve any discrepancies.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Ensure accurate cost accounting, including direct and indirect costs, overhead allocation.Oversee inventory tracking and management systems (experience preferred, but not essential).Participate in the development and monitoring of the company's budget and financial forecasts.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations, policies, and procedures.Identify areas for improvement in accounting processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.2+ years of supervisory/management experience.Strong proficiency in accounting software (Contpaq i preferred, but other similar software is acceptable).Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and functions relevant to accounting and manufacturing cost analysis).Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills.Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues effectively.Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.90% or higher fluency in written and spoken English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
