About the Role Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management.
As a Accounting Supervisor, you can expect to: Maintaining financial records in accordance with GAAP and organizational standards. Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Overseeing the month-end close process Participate on account reconciliation reviews. Ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed. Overseeing and evaluating the activities of junior accounting staff and providing for their professional development; analyzing and solving intermediate accounting problems. Coordinate the annual external audits for Mexico, Colombia and Panama. Participate in Finance Transformation projects. What You Have Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.. Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes. Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. Financial Record Keeping: Knowledge of financial record keeping processes, methods, and tools; ability to maintain accurate and thorough records of financial transactions. Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
