Supervises and directs the workflow of the staff to ensure that objectives are being met in a timely manner. Supports internal and external customers. Manages day to day activities. Provides guidance, training, motivation, and work scheduling for staff. Supports Manager and/or Director as appropriate. Mentors and develops staff.
What You'll Do: Coordinate and ensure compliance with tax obligations.Responsible for verifying and communicating tax changes, Federal, State, applicable to companies and individuals of the group.Review the tax mailboxAttend to the requirements of the Tax Authority, stamp invoices, payment complements.Perform tax analysis and evaluate the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.Provide guidance and support to the accounting team in the proper preparation of financial records and tax related documents.Collaborate closely with other departments, such as Finance and Legal, to ensure sound and consistent tax management across the organization.Perform tax analysis and assess the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.Oversee obligations due during the year.Respond to electronic invoicing.Communicate strategy to our Greater Toronto area.Respond to requests from external auditors and tax authorities.
