In the job as Accounts Payable Analyst, you will have the opportunity to actively support the organization by ensuring that our manufacturing site runs as needed to have the growth expected of the products we make in Mexico, excel in your own daily tasks and responsibilities, and experience a very varied working day in a dynamic.
**Objective**:
The accounts payable analyst is responsible for managing the accounts payable process within their organization. This includes reviewing purchase orders, invoices, and other documents to ensure that all purchases comply with company policies and procedures.
The accounts payable analyst will also need to resolve any issues that arise during this process with suppliers and/or requesters of goods or services.
**Duties/Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure invoices are accurate and comply with company guidelines and Mexican regulations.
- Review purchase orders and invoices to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure payments are processed correctly.
- Bank account reconciliation.
- Provide confirmation of payments to suppliers and company personnel.
- Account, reconcile and analyze accounts payable from national and foreign suppliers.
- Monitoring and control of physical import/export/duties/VAT documentation related to the customs area.
- Reconcile received purchase orders with supplier billing.
- Make and reconcile monthly provisions for company costs and expenses.
- Reconciliation of prepaid expenses such as insurance, state taxes, and depreciation, etc.
- Support with the implementation of systems, improvements, and automation of the department's activities.
- Tracking and recording expense report-travel expenses
- Preparation of the monthly INEGI report
- Support in financial audits regarding accounts payable, bank statements, bank reconciliations, provisions, accounting entries, etc.
**Required Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a maquiladora.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is a manufacturing facility and as a result, employees have the potential to be exposed to noise, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, machinery, vibration, or other workplace hazards controlled within compliance of current safety and health standards.
