Accounts Payable Specialist

MezTal is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team.
This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy of our financial records through the management of our accounts payable transactions.
Key Responsibilities: Process and manage vendor invoices and payments, ensuring timely transactions.
Review invoices for appropriate documentation and accuracy before approval for payment.
Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist in month-end closing activities and reconciliations.
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial processes.
Prepare reports as needed for management.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in accounts payable.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
3+ years of experience in accounts payable or similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
