Take a look at career opportunities at Viasat todayThe day-to-day:**Responsibilities**:- Fully responsible for administration of accounts payable process- Communication with suppliers, treasury, sales, operations, customer care and marketing areas- Activities may include recording invoices, performing operational and technical accounts payable, analysis reporting, follow up with payment history report and payment calendars- Control of monthly expenses, paid in advance, accruals, and accounts payables balances in month end close- Work with purchasing group closely to quote new vendors and review purchases orders, approvals, and general ledger coding- Assist with monthly and quarterly expense budgeting to ensure all activities are captured- Application and development of corporate policies, and procedures- Opportunity for involvement in Financial Planning process and accounting areaWhat you'll need:**Requirements**:- 3+ years' experience in accounts payable roles in the Mexican telecommunications, cable television, broadband services industries, or a multi-national company- Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or other quantitative discipline- Knowledge in local tax regulations (CFDI 4.0, VAT, withholdings, etc.), bookkeeping and administration of accounts payable process- Intermediate English (oral and written)- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, and Outlook)- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy- Self-starter with ability to work independently while understanding the importance of elevating questions/concerns promptly- Problem solving and visualization of problems and solutions, critical thinkingWhat will help you on the job:**Preferences**- ERP proficiency, ideally SAP or Oracle- Prior U.S. public company and multi-national experienceEEO statement:
