What's the role?IMPORTANT: This role is based in Leon, Guanajuato and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three days on-site in our Refugio Campestre office and two days remote (work from home). No exceptions will be made to this working arrangement.Please submit resumes in ENGLISH.As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will review and process invoices based on purchase orders for several HERE companies. You will also run the weekly pay cycles and perform the A/P month end close.
You will be a full-time team member of the Global Accounts Payable Shared Services, reporting into the Global AP Lead.
Within this team, the Accounts Payable Specialist's responsibilities are:
Review and verify invoices in CoupaProcess invoices in Coupa for the business units you're responsible forFollow up on invoice approvals and receiving of goods/servicesReview and match invoices with purchase orders (PO)Research and resolve invoice and PO discrepancies and issuesReconcile accounts payable transactionsPost transactions to journals and ledgersPrepare and settle weekly payment cycles in the ERP systemPlan meetings with stakeholders to minimize overdue invoicesFollow up on supplier remindersCorrespond with suppliers and respond to inquiriesPerform A/P month end closeWho are you?Educational level: Business AdministrationAt least 2-5 years of working experience in Accounts PayableKnowledge of working with an automated financial system, bank tools, and MS OfficeKnowledge of accounts payable (PtP) processes and general accounting proceduresGood knowledge of English (write and speak), knowledge of second language is highly appreciatedAttention to detail and accuracy and handles confidential information with careAbility to meet deadlinesFlexibility and team spiritHERE is an equal opportunity employer.
