The Account Payable Trainee is for assisting the Accounts Payable team.Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing: Review and process all incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Handle weekly check runs and maintain communication with vendors regarding payment status.Record Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive files, including payment statements, receipts, utility bills, checks, and wires.
Ensure accurate record-keeping for easy retrieval and reporting.Reporting activities related to process documents.Follow up on vendor inquiries (reconcile & analyze vendor balances).AP process support (engage in meetings of the Finance team).Closing activities.Work to improve existing reporting templates, processes & tools.US payment processing is daily for EPD and urgent payments, weekly for "Dues" (COGS and SGA that don't have EPD terms).Responsible for executing PCard payments for Central Operations and others that involve customer jobs including uploading invoices on the job in the local system, executing payments, and filling out Concur expense reports.Responsible for uploading invoices to the local system (non-credit card related) when supplier portal issues arise, working with vendor AR on inquiries, etc.Knowledge, Skills + Experience1 year of accounts payable experience.Experience with Excel.Intermediate English reading and writing skills.Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.Very good attitude towards service.Very responsible and open to learning.Detail-oriented.Oral and written communication skills.Organizational skills.Must possess high energy.Teamwork.Your resume will be reviewed by a member of our Recruiting team, and we'll reach out to you directly if there's a fit.
