Position requires an individual who has extensive knowledge of accounting procedures, able to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision.
This role must also have the ability to perform and help support duties of the Sr.
Representatives and Representatives in Accounts Receivable.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesPost Cash receiptsProcess approved accounts receivable adjustments to Customer accountsAssist with bank reconciliationsBook Treasury Internal TransfersBook Treasury FX SWAPSProcessing Netting related entriesGL account entriesTroubleshooting, transaction and bank data researchProcess Refund requestsPerform customer write-off'sResearch and process unclaimed fundsUpload Complementos to Customer portalsTroubleshoot and fix incorrect ComplementosInteract with customers, both internally and externally, to identify and resolve outstanding issues in a timely and professional mannerCollection knowledgeInvoice disputesPerforms other duties as assignedEducation and Experience RequirementsEducation:Bachelor degree, or 5+ years of proven and relevant work experienceLanguageGood command in English – verbal and writtenFluent Spanish – verbal and writtenExperience:Strong background in Cash application and General Accounting principalsMinimum 2 years relevant experience is requiredSAP ProficiencyPreferred Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of Cash applicationKnowledge of General Accounting and accounts receivableKnowledge of SAP and Hanse OrgaStrong attention to detail, with focus on data qualitySavvy with technology which includes use of web-based platforms, case management, etc.Outstanding customer focus including attributes of empathy, compassion and service orientationSuperior organizational, decision-making and follow-up skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionFocused on continuous learning and developing new skills
