Manage customer debt, engage customers for outstanding payments and to work closely with sales teams to ensure invoices and credit notes are issued promptly and in accordance with the John Crane policies and procedures. As the AR Assistant, the role will be required to be involved in process changes as needed, and aligning/documenting processes across different credit controllers working within the SSC.**Duties & Responsibilities**Key areas of support will include but not limited: Key areas of support will include but not limited:- Perform AR Activities for USA Customers- Perform deliver targets based upon expected KPIs- Ensure collection of outstanding invoices from external customers, within the payment due date in accordance with all company policies, procedures and guidelines- Investigate discrepancies between monies received and invoiced amounts on an individual invoice level- Engage with sales department/CSRs to determine the need to place customers on credit hold when required and ensure cash is received within deadlines- Works with customer to settle disputes, investigate variances between pricing and shipped quantities, freight charges, and research/resolve over or under payments- Reconcile customer accounts with the customer and resolve any reconciliation differences / queries, provide copies of invoices- Maintain weekly business relationship with accounts- Assist in establishing new account credit limits and/or review existing credit limits on assigned customer portfolio- Special projects as assignedThis role will report into the Finance Manager and be a key position within the finance function.**Diversity & Inclusion**We believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
