We are seeking an enthusiastic AR intern to support the Finance functions of the Brightcove GDL office. This position will be exposed to a variety of tasks and projects and will have the opportunity to further develop your skills. We're looking for self-starters who want to make a significant contribution to a growing organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Process new customer setups.
- Assist with ongoing contract entry of new and existing customers for all Regions.
- Assist with the overall collections efforts including minimizing the DSO.
- Works with customers to resolve past due accounts and answer billing inquiries.
- Assist with monthly/quarterly close processes.
- Perform additional financial analyses and projects as necessary.
**Qualifications/Experience**
- In pursuit of a college degree or recently graduated (Accounting or Finance preferred).
- 0-1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently and adapt to change while maintaining high productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Ability to resolve conflicts in a productive and professional manner.
- Experience with Oracle or other deferred revenue and billing software is a plus.
