LeadVenture is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a portfolio of accounts, process payments, and resolve billing inquiries. You will contact customers about overdue balances, negotiate payment plans, reconcile accounts, and collaborate with 3rd party collections agencies when necessary. The role also includes handling ACH charge-backs, assisting with cancellations, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesMonitor a portfolio of accounts and identify outstanding receivables.Investigate historical data, resolve customer billing inquiries, and process payments, credits, and refunds.Contact customers (via phone and email) with overdue balances, negotiate payment plans, and manage declined credit cards.Reconcile accounts for billing and cash application and resolve credit issues.Respond to ACH chargebacks, escalate issues as needed, and work with 3rd party collections agencies for delinquent accounts.Maintain accurate records, update account statuses, and prepare collection activity reports.Manage personal and group email inboxes, handle incoming calls, and respond to voicemails in a timely manner.Assist customers with cancellation processes, review accounts in bankruptcy, and support internal requests.Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.You'll thrive in this role if you have:At least 2-3 years' experience in Collections and Accounts Receivable.Fluent in English, written and spoken is required.Skilled in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Exceptional integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.Excellent ability to successfully interface with clients and handle multiple priorities concurrently.Able to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.Critical thinking skills.Self-motivated.High capacity to learn and adapt.Does this position sound like something you would enjoy and be successful at, but you're not sure you have the exact qualifications to be considered?
