ACES Learning Coordinator, Amazon Logistics Learning TeamThe Sort Center Learning Coordinator works with operations managers, area managers, and production assistants to coordinate all associates onboarding activities for the site, cross training needs, refreshments, and leads new process implementations.
Key job responsibilitiesCoordinate ambassador identification program and track new hire onboarding and ambassador audits.Coordinate site Associate Experience Week program and assign Learn Before Doing plans for operations.Track learning curve and continuous improvement metrics at the site level.Audit Powered Industrial Equipment Training program and trainer standard work.Execute training programs for both seasonal and permanent trainers.Coordinate and facilitate any training related programs.Manage ticketing system and ensure tickets are closed within expected timeline.Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation. Monitor adherence to the established training programs to ensure standard work in the training programs.Actively seek ongoing skill development (i.e., participating and conducting skill classes, cross-training, etc.).Document feedback results to help the learning department identify strengths as well as areas of improvement.Assess development needs for individuals and groups.Fully understand workflow and daily production goals.Ability to solve problems: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve.Balance and prioritize multiple tasks.Maintain a positive attitude and presence on the floor.A day in the lifeAmazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) learning coordinator will be part of the operations mechanisms, such as pre-shift meetings, daily operational meetings, GEMBA Walks, audits, and training sessions. Learning Coordinators have learning trainers as direct reports and are responsible for their development and daily agendas. They will review trends and training needs with operation and support area managers as needed, schedule and review content of trainings, and prepare for peak events with ramp-ups, while having constant communication with PXT and Staffing for new hires onboardings. As part of the ACES team, they will also lead on projects and new implementations.
About the teamThe team has two important areas within. First, the Learning section, where depending on volume and headcount, a learning coordinator can oversee one or more sites. This position works closely with ACES process leaders, who have the continuous improvement and project timelines.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Started or completed bachelor's degree.
- Experience as People Manager, leading teams (less than 5 persons).
- Experience in Learning Area, scheduling trainings, and able to speak in public.
- English B1.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Leads projects and implementations of new processes.
- Continuous improvement experience or certification.
