DescriptionThe ADAS Algorithms Development Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance and optimization of features in radar, camera, fusion, and/or vehicle control systems. The colleague will actively work with internal and external engineering teams to bring high-quality products into production, ensuring that the algorithms meet both internal and external requirements. The engineer may be required to work on multiple projects.Main Responsibilities:- Develop embedded ADAS algorithms to meet product requirements.- Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to provide insight and inspire future development.- Maintain correspondence with multiple engineering teams, both internal and external.- Technical alignment with project team and external customers.- Maintain a thorough understanding of customer and product requirements.- Follow Continental's Material Life Cycle development process, including code, requirements, and test result reviews.**Qualifications**:Basic Qualifications:- Effective communication in English (TOEIC 700+)- BS degree in related engineering field: Computer Science, Mechatronics, Physics, Mathematics, etc.- Strong ability to solve problems in logic, mathematics, and dynamics. Analytical thinking.- Proficient at implementing algorithms with C/C++ programming.- Skilled at analyzing large sets of data using Python/Matlab.- Experience developing complex software.- Solid knowledge developing prediction, tracking, and classification algorithms for computer vision, machine learning etc.- Customer and quality orientation.- Willingness to work on different sensor products, and serve many different roles to fill department needs.- Self-motivated, with an ability to work within a team or autonomously.Preferred Qualifications:- Fluent communication in English (TOEIC 900+).- M.S./Ph.D. degree in related engineering field: Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in the field of engineering and product development.- Knowledge of control theory and algorithms.- Experience in AGILE development methods.- Experience in software development in the automotive industry (ASPICE, V-model)- Development experience with radar and camera sensors and algorithms.- First experience in project management, customer communication or technical leadership is beneficial.Continental develops pioneering technologies and services for sustainable and connected mobility of people and their goods.
