The Stellantis Project Leader in the Electrical & Mechatronics Purchasing Organization is responsible for leading and managing procurement projects that are critical to the company's automotive product development and Total Production Cost improvements. This role involves overseeing the strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional coordination required to meet project objectives and ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of automotive components and services.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage procurement projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress with the Electrical & Mechatronics Buying team, identifying potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Strategic Sourcing:
- Identify and evaluate potential best-cost-country suppliers and vendors to meet project requirements for automotive components and services.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with company objectives, including cost reduction, quality improvement, and supplier innovation.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions and pricing.
- Supplier Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure high levels of performance and collaboration.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and cost performance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, Supplier Risk Management and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with project requirements.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between various stakeholders to align project objectives and resolve any issues that arise.
- Cost Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvements.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual agreements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, project plans, and performance reports.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on project status, key milestones, and any issues or risks.
- Analyze project performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
**Main deliverables**
- Recommendation of suppliers according to sourcing timing, cost targets and commodity strategy
- Elaborate and ensure the signature of the Purchase Agreement and or GT&Cs
- Economical performances including VO, in line with Division and Commodity Group's targets
- Resourcing recommendation in line with Division and Commodity Group's targets
- Quality, logistic and Vehicle Off Road (VOR) performance in line with GPSC's targets
- All business administration linked to this position
**Requirements**:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, project management, or a related role within the automotive industry.
- English language proficiency
