Description
The main responsibility for a Scrum Master is to act as a facilitator for an Agile Team.
The Scrum Master is a servant leader and facilitates the team progress towards their goals, ensure process & method conformance and facilitates a continues improvement of the team.
Collaborates with other Scrum Master and the Release Train Engineer during development to optimize the overall cross-team setup.
Ensure that team impediments are removed, team internal conflicts are resolved, weaknesses are identified and tackled, and that the team can measure its own performance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Educates the team in generic agile methods and practices
- Coaches the team on problem-solving and conflict-resolution
- Facilitates the team progress toward team goals and ensure/facilitate planning process of the program and solution team
- Ensures qualitative development by facilitating and re-enforcing agreed upon methods, processes and tools of the Agile Team
- Facilitates team meetings and agile ceremonies
- Coordinates and follows-up with impediments, risks and dependencies with the product owner and agile team members
- Preparation, readiness and execution of events of the Agile Release Train
- Drives the team to continuously improving itself.
Challenges the team actively to increase their efficiency, performance and quality.
- Develops and implements reporting methods and metrics for improving the team performance and monitoring team heath and progress for the team and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 2 years professional experience in Automotive with electronic products or systems or relevant field
Experience in active safety electronic systems or other safety electronic products is a plus
Experience in Agile methodology
Scrum Master certification is a plus
Knowledge about ASPICE
Advanced know-how in change and problem resolution management
Good software development process knowledge
Good project management skills (incl.
effort / cost estimation, project planning, monitoring, risk management)
Good communication and presentation skills
Basic knowledge about the Product Life Cycle
Basic requirements engineering skills
Willingness to travel (
