Position InformationPosition Title: Adjunct Faculty - NursingDepartment: NursingJob Purpose: The Department of Nursing seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach in its undergraduate and graduate Nursing programs. The following nursing specialties are needed: medical-surgical, mental health, community health, obstetrics, and psychiatric nursing. A master's degree in nursing is required.Adjunct faculty function in the clinical and classroom settings and are expected to prepare course materials when necessary, provide support and guidance to students, report grades, and uphold the policies of the Department of Nursing and The University of Scranton.Minimum QualificationsAdditional Skills Required: Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure in the State of Pennsylvania, participate in the onboarding and clinical clearance process as required. BSN with an active plan to complete an MSN within 5 years.Preferred Education: MSN or doctoral degree in nursing.Minimum Job Experience Requirements: Experience in direct care of patients and clients.
