**About the role**:
- The Administrator - Payroll ROW provides administrative support of payroll for Orica employees within the relevant region ensuring accuracy and compliance with Orica and legislative requirements.
**What you will be doing**:
- Responsible for Employee record management related to payroll
- Ability to partner effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Role model personal commitment to Safety and Orica's Charter and Values
- Responsible for administering offline payroll data and processes
- Responsible for leave management advice and compliance
- Responsible for management of Service Now related to payroll
- Responsible for payroll GL reconciliation
- Responsible for payroll input and or management of external service providers
- Understanding of the running of weekly, fort-nightly, monthly and off cycle payruns
- Responsible for the administration of benefits relation to North America
- Responsible for end of year processes and reporting
- Responsible for providing legislative advice to payments
- Responsible for Regular and AdHoc reporting and analysis of payroll issues
- Compliance to legislation and reporting as required.
- Involvement in structure of rostering changes for International Assignees
- Involvement in International Assignees structure to ensure payments are mapped and paid correctly
**What you will bring**:
- Understanding of HR/Payroll Policies, procedures, Enterprise Agreements and legislation relevant to applicable country or region
- Appropriate fundamental Payroll knowledge applicable to Mexico and Dominican Republic payroll
- Knowledge of computer software, ie. 1.Applicable country/region payroll system preferred or other payroll system experience considered, 2. Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good communication/ interpersonal skills.
- High numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to prioritise.
- 3+ Years experience in the Payroll discipline
- Conversational language proficiency in English and French
**Role dimensions**:
- Full Time (US Time Zones), Monday through Friday, Approx 40 hours/week
- Payroll, per country, for all functions within North America
