**About CIU****About the Position**:The Admissions Advisor will support all aspects of admissions, recruitment, and financial aid and will direct the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment. The Advisor will lead a collaborative effort to develop and implement short-term and long-term recruitment strategies to ensure CIU meets enrollment objectives.**Responsibilities**:- Consistently follow up with students, staff, and management on pending admission items.- Proactively contact students regularly to establish and maintain rapport and serve as the student's point of contact to ensure questions and concerns are resolved.- Be knowledgeable about the academic requirements and student learning outcomes of all university programs and effectively communicate such information to prospective students and other interested persons.- Promptly respond to all inquiries regarding educational programs offered by the university.- Interview prospective students.- Ensure that students complete all requirements for enrollment in compliance with university policies and procedures.- Continually seek prospective students through personal contacts and referrals.- Oversee the selection process of new students including the work of the admissions and financial aid committees and maintain CIU's admissions statistics.- Lead retention efforts with level principals.- Manage and support financial aid process and participate in policy decisions, messaging/communications, award review meetings, and effort- Other duties as assigned.**Minimum Requirements**- Associates degree in marketing, business development, or related area from an accredited institution. Bachelor's degree or BBA preferred.- 3-5 years of experience in the management of student recruitment, intangible sales, or related area with progressive responsibility**Education**:- High school or equivalent (preferred)**Experience**:- Sales: 1 year (required)- Customer service: 1 year (required)
