The Sewing Specialist will work closely with the HFI Plant Operations teams, Tooling/Product Engineering, Quality Managers and Sales, during the development and launch phases of the program.
**MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**:- Manage ongoing development and improvement of HFI Sewing-in-Place and Conventional Sewing processes, through new technologies and improvement of processes and systems.- Coordinate efforts to maximize utilization of capital Sewing equipment across all HFI plants, thru utilization of effective OEE tracking and visual management systems.- Maintain accurate, current plant & equipment capacity and utilization information, ensure Manufacturing Location decision for new business, can be made with long term, strategic perspective.- Support new program RFQ and feasibility studies completion, with sales, costing and product engineering.
