Advanced Engineer

Job Description- Coordinate and work with local and global teams, TSG, and Corporate Engineering to ensure test implementation of new products are completed at start of sales.- Individual will be required to work closely with Design Engineering and Program Management to define test strategies, & implement testability into products and deliver test solutions to Refurbishment.- Provide design for serviceability input in the new product development process.- Actively participate on Global Refurb and Repair Center of Excellence team to assist in setting long range global test strategies.- Develop new test strategies for cost effective global solutions for Refurbishment and Repair.- Drive plans to stabilize new and current product test platforms including standardization of hardware and software platforms.- Proven track record to provide leadership and direction to global test technicians and/or engineers!- Develop schematics for hardware with Design Works, and provide documentation for hardware, software, help files and schematics.- Develops test software with LabView or LabWindows CVI, Microsoft Visual Studio.- HP3070 In-circuit test knowledge is a plus.- Must have strong understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles and provide continuous improvement support to the design/debug of test systems and processes.- Must be willing to travel internationally. Estimated 15-25% travel.- Strong analytical and problem solving skills required to support local and global test.- Ability to interpret and implement manufacturing equipment and process documentation.- Time management, accuracy, and the ability to navigate within high-pressure situations.
