**Job Description Summary**: GEIQ is a leader in the generation of new technologies for the Aerospace Industry in close interaction with multiple global sites. If you are interested in managing the software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation, creation of test procedures and code implementation this is the position for you.

As Advanced Lead Software Engineer you will be responsible for leading, designing, developing, testing and documenting Embedded Software. Our Software Engineers must love working in friendly and agile collaborative environments, get excited about participate in multiple Software activities, have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and excel working with some of the smartest engineers in the industry.

In the Aviation Systems Power Software team, we develop and test critical software for Aviation Power products; due to the high criticality of our software, our engineers have a high responsibility in the development of Power Distribution Products.
- Coach and mentor others in the analysis, design, test and/or integration related to assigned components, assemblies or process systems that meet business standards, practices and procedures, and meet the product/program requirements.
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.
- Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments.
- Participate as a presenter in technical and program reviews.
- Lead the solution of complex technical problems.
- Lead multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality and ensuring schedule requirements are met.
- Define technical schedule cost and/or program requirements.
- Effectively communicate and provide recommendations to internal and external GE customers through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data.
- Support team's technical proficiency and growth.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or Computer Science/Engineering
- Programming experience in C, Python, ASM, C++
- Embedded Software knowledge in pointers, data structures, memory usage, interrupt routines, microcontrollers
- Advances leadership experience in an engineering position
- Experience in Software Development of Power products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Maintain technical conversations in English, either verbally or written
