Eaton's ADMIN Administrative division is currently seeking a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer.
**What you'll do**:
**PRIMARY FUNCTION**
Responsible for the technical direction, completion, and supervision of tasks necessary for the achievement of manufacturing engineering requirements related to the design, development and installation of production equipment, processes, and documentation in order to achieve a flawless launch. Through the use of lean methodology and statistical analysis, ensure the long term capability of new manufacturing equipment and processes. Conduct design for manufacturing and assembly for existing and new technologies. Implement and manage the standardization of equipment and processes for a global product line. Delegate and remotely manage the completion of plant activities required to successfully launch new products. Manage the global manufacturing footprint for a product line with multiple product families
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Provide technical leadership to the AME group and others within the organization
- Provide all necessary information for development of estimates as required by the RFQ system
- Plan, design, build and implement assembly and test process for new and existing products
- Develop processes with yield, throughput, scrap reduction, error proofing, and ergonomic enhancements as part of the process
- Manage projects including product design for manufacturing, equipment acquisition, process development, documentation of the system, training and problem solving activities of new product lines and equipment
- Work with others throughout the organization to complete all manufacturing requirements related to PROLaunch, including PFMEAs, DFMAs, flow charts, control plans, MVP&Rs, and operator instruction sheets
- Coordinate installation of all new equipment for assigned ProLaunch NPD projects at the manufacturing sites
- Lead Problem Solving Activities such as 8Ds, and Six Sigma Projects as required for manufacturing related issues
- Understand cutting edge technology and its relevancy to business products and manufacturing strategies
- Lead strategic planning efforts related to capital expenditures
- Provide support and direction to manufacturing engineers at the manufacturing sites
- Willing to Travel up to 25%
**Qualifications**:
**Basic Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Minimum 5 years work experience in a manufacturing environment (e.g., operations management, manufacturing engineering)
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Willing to Travel up to 25%

- Leadership skills - capability to lead change in a matrix organization across multiple sites and customers globally
- Ability to manage manufacturing projects through the use of Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
- Experience in the development of equipment specifications and vendor selection
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent Design Software (CAD) and engineering tool knowledge and skills
