**Responsabilities**:- Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs.- Support Vertiv manufacturing operations using standard processes, equipment, and manufacturing methods.- Identify and justify Advance Manufacturing key processes and equipment.- Provide support for manufactured cost analyses of new and existing products.- Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.- Implement best manufacturing practices for existing processes and provide multi-site manufacturing engineering support.- Oversee the development and execution of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.- Research and lead new manufacturing technologies and practices.- Coordinate cross-plant problem-solving teams to improve operating performance and meet business objectives.- Assist with business-critical capital projects including facility planning, layout, and cost justification.- Develop and implement manufacturing plans for new products.- Technical Advisor for Vertiv manufacturing facilities.- Specify manufacturing process capabilities and develop Process FMEAs to improve product manufacturability and quality**Requirements**:- PC working knowledge (MS Office, PDM system, CADD, Minitab)- Facility or Production Line Layout development (using AutoCad or equivalent) - Strong Mechanical aptitude- Knowledge of assembly and fabrication processes- Knowledge of Design tools, methods, and new technologies- Skill in vendor analysis and negotiations- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization- Effective use of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement tools.- Preferred: Material Requirements Planning proficiency (ERP/MRP software)- Preferred: Experience supporting manufacturing of system-level Configured products (containing controls and an HMI)- Preferred: Experience compiling and submitting Capital Appropriation Requests (CAR's)**Years of Experience**:3-5 years**Travel requirements**:10% (Visa-Eligible)
