Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Team Leader in our Tlaxcala location.
What do you get to do in this position? Industrialization: Define the critical manufacture process roadmap according to the LTIP & Business evolution.
Drive advanced manufacture trends through involvement with new technology & methodology. Provide expertise for the development of new processes to factories, striving to continuously enhance the efficiency, ergonomics, and productivity of deliverables while optimizing investment.
Align with =S= Global strategy to develop smart applications and enhance the EcoStruxure in GSC NAM Plants. Process development follow-up: Be the leader to control & manage the whole process of new equipment/process development from conception to completion (including modification & improvement of existing equipment and guarantee optimal IE and ergonomics). Support the plant: Assist as per the plant needs for existing processes where specific technical expertise is required.
Manage and coach the plant team to enhance their overall competency (both Engineers & DVC). Standardization: Create AME Procedures (with templates) for GSC NAM, standardize the AME workflow; improve the format of the quotation to enhance Capex management; Component standardization for additional savings. Supplier management: Establish a rich & strong supplier pool, lead suppliers to follow =S= rules and improve their service level, involve NEC strategy to solve resource issues, support purchasers on "contract negotiation" to overall reduce MBC costs. This job might be for you if: Undergraduate or graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. Minimum 6 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrialization, Automation, Ergonomics, LADM, etc.
in a high-tech environment. Deep understanding of precision manufacturing processes and project management. Experience outlining equipment specifications for technologies in the following areas: High-speed assembly automation for electromechanical products and subassemblies. Electronics manufacturing – PCBA Mfg & Testing. Robotics, COBOTs, Smart Factory, Industry 4.0. Knowledge of cost estimation and supplier market for these technologies. Clear understanding of the SE Industrial policies and practices. Experience in driving strong & successful execution of projects. Other domains of competencies: Lean Manufacturing, Flow, Kanban, etc.
