As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Sr Adv based in Mexicali, you will play a critical role in driving manufacturing efficiency of our aerospace products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest level of quality and cost-effectiveness, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise in manufacturing engineering will contribute to the success of our aerospace manufacturing operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify optimization opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Conduct data analysis and track key performance indicators
- Lead, manage or participate in complex aerospace projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support the implementation of new products and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams.
- Provide technical leadership, coordination, and mentorship to the manufacturing engineering team.
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Engineering bachelor's degree: Mechanical, Mechatronic, Aerospace, Electronic, Cybernetic.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles.
- Proven Experience in the aerospace industry or related
- Fluent level of English Language.
- Knowledge of automation semi-automation or robotics.
- Data Analysis Skills.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- NPI / NPD Experience.
- Transitions and Product Transfer Experience.
- Advanced SAP skills.
- Demonstrated Customer Support background.
- Internal and External Audits as auditor or auditee.
- Metrics Administration.
- Management Operating System approach.
- NADCAP, Special Processes or relevant Subject Matter Expertise in Aerospace Industry.
- Aerospace products experience: Power Generation, Actuation, Composites, Heat Exchanger or Metal-Mechanical Processes.
- Equipment Commissioning, validation, and production release.
- Quality Management Systems (AS9100 or other).
- Product Lifecycle Management software (Teamcenter or other)
