**BORGWARNER MEXICO****Solicita**:**Advanced Quality Engineer****Descripción y Requisitos**Job Responsibilities:- Be the Voice of Quality- Program Management (APQP)- DFMEA/PFMEA, PCP, PFD- Lead, create and submit the PPAP- Ensure the Company processes, standards and program specific requirements are implemented and followed.- Obtain/cascade customer specific requirements for program and convert them into deliverables for the project team.- 100% ownership of driving APQP 8D's as they arise- Understand Systemic failure Lessons learned, from read across, and Warranty data.- Champion the culture of Continuous improvement throughout the APQP- Drive Run Rate Targets- Monitor program KPI's with program team and initiate actions if necessary- Lead audits on local programs and develop corrective actions for the teams (Pre/post gate reviews, Launch audits, VDA, WeAR)- Escalate program Quality Risks into the appropriate organization- Primary Quality Contact for Customers in ALL quality matters (e.G., claims of prototype parts, PPAP timing, RR timing, action plan status)- Ensure the discipline in the program team that ALL program deliverables of the PDP/APQP are available on time.- Be an active leader/contributor to the program team- Responsible for regular updates to the Program Manager, Plant Manager, and/or Customer on the project status- Be in constant contact with Customer Quality Engineer and Warranty engineer to learn risks in the field for "lessons learned" to carryover.- Responsible to assist, track and monitor any product teardowns during the program developmentQualifications/Requirements/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred (Master's degree will be valued)- Practitioner's knowledge of the Quality Core Tools (APQP, D/PFMEA, PCP,s SPC), and the methodology- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Product Life cycle experience (e.G., as a member of launch team)- Familiar with BW Customer Specific Requirements for Critical and Specific requirements.- Have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build consensus and sell ideas at all levels.- Ability to read and interpret Mechanical drawings- Understand measurement techniques (CMM, Contour graph, gaging, Go/No-Go)- MS - Office Computer strength- Organized, and able to create tracking information for presentation- Work well in team with the goal of successful launchCore Competencies:- Customer Focus- Decision Quality- Priority Setting- Drive for Results- Problem Solving- Interpersonal Savvy- Conflict Management- TeamPuesto: Calidad**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: Negociable- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Chihuahua- Ciudad: Ciudad Juarez
