About the role
Roku is looking for an experienced leader to develop Roku's advertising business in Mexico. The Advertising Sales Lead will develop strategies to grow Roku's advertising revenues as the Mexican market embraces the move to streaming and serve as the thought leader and industry-facing presence for our ad business. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep understanding of advertising trading, senior relationships with the buy-side and a passion for innovation as advertising models evolve.
The person in this role will have responsibility for the strategic direction of our advertising business, lead the commercial relationship with Roku's advertising partners in Mexico and work with our strategic planning teams to scope the size of Roku's future ad opportunity. This role requires a strategic mindset, a first-rate network within the buy-side community as well as exemplary communications skills. You will report to the Director of International Advertising Sales as part of Roku's global advertising organization.
What you will be doing
Creating and implementing a robust advertising revenue strategy for Roku in Mexico.
Identifying key market opportunities within ad-supported streaming and plans to capture Roku's share of value.
Developing Roku's advertising revenue partnerships.
Providing market insights and feedback to inform product development/prioritization and ad marketing strategy.
Staying abreast of industry trends, market conditions, the regulatory environment and competitive landscape.
Using data and analytics alongside client and partner feedback to drive decision-making and measure success.
We're excited if you have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
A deep understanding of the advertising landscape, strong relationships with key industry players, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
Exceptional communication and executive presence with the ability to influence, present concepts, recommendations, and analyses to senior partners, internally and externally, in a clear and actionable manner.
The ability to utilize your network of senior-level relationships to facilitate decision-making and execution of strategic priorities.
A bias for action in problem solving and proactively project manage numerous projects with competing timelines.
Experience aligning and driving cross-functional teams.
High degree of organization with excellent attention to detail.
Comfort working independently in an ever-changing environment, at times with high levels of ambiguity.
Passion for learning and relentless improvement.
