**Job Title**: Advisor/Consultant - Program Manager**Location**: Remote/Domestic travel**Shift**: Flexible as needed (dedicated upon deployment)**Deployment**: Project deployment to customer locations as needed**Pay Range**: Based on skills and experience**Job Duties**:- Oversee and coordinate different related projects in a company to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals- Organize various programs and activities to improve customer company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, and developing program and project budgets- Devising new programs that support the organization's objectives- Come up with sustainable goals for the organization- Work with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs- Monitor projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met- Meet with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals- Manage and be accountable for the contract performance for divisional programs or a set of related projects to achieve programmatic business objectives throughout the program lifecycle.- Serve as the customer advocate and ensures effective program management processes, schedule, cost, resources, risk, project change management, and commitments to customers are met.- Manages a program or combination of programs of moderate scope and complexity.- Programs typically are for a defined set of customers, market segment(s) or product line(s).- Program scope is generally evaluated based on non-recurring engineering (NRE) cost of the program(s).
**Required Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field.- PMP certification strongly encouraged- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 10+ years related work experience; including leading multiple projects of varying complexity and scope and direct leadership of teams.- In-depth knowledge and proficiency with automotive program management processes, methodology, and architecture.- Ability to effectively demonstrate business skills and lead cross-functional matrixed teams across a suite of related projects.- Thorough knowledge of automotive industry practices and the marketplace associated with fielded product or service.- In-depth knowledge of automotive procurement requirements and understanding of financial and labor cost systems and production processes.- Ability to analyze and interpret complex policies, contractual language, and financial reports.- Ability to respond to and negotiate with customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
