Descripción y detalle de las actividadesAs an Aftermarket Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering turbochargers & turbomachinery solutions for Aftermarket customers around the world.
Responsibilities: Customer Programs - Define scope & product offerings with customer and Aftermarket team - Perform 1D simulation including turbocharger matching and aerodynamic evaluation - Design components as needed in CAD and/or manage design activity - Drive engineering activities for development including FEA, CFD, DFMEA as needed - Perform Post Test Analysis activities including tear-down, analysis, 8D/RCCA, product improvements, and reporting - Analyze FEA and CFD results making appropriate design changes to address findings.
- Responsible for resolving field and warranty issues by identifying root cause, implementing rapid containment and permanent corrective actions for existing product.
