Manager is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), responsible for managing projects, facilitating ART events and processes, driving continuous improvement, ensuring the successful delivery of value for all IT related projects and initiatives.
As a seasoned Agile practitioner, you will combine a deep understanding of Agile methodologies with a passion for fostering collaboration, innovation, and bringing products and services to life. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams and ARTs.Escalate impediments to the appropriate levels and ensure timely resolution.Oversee the release management process, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of value to customers. This includes coordinating with teams to plan and execute releases, managing release schedules, and communicating release status to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement:
Analyze metrics and data to identify opportunities for improvement in the ART's performance and effectiveness.Facilitate retrospectives and implement improvement actions. Communicate with stakeholders:
Provide regular updates and reports on the ART's progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.Ensure transparency and visibility into the ART's work.Facilitate product demos to showcase the ART's accomplishments and gather feedback. Foster collaboration and alignment:
Build relationships and foster collaboration between teams, stakeholders, and leadership.Ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Value Delivery and Continuous Improvement:
Facilitate the flow of value through ARTs, identifying and addressing impediments. Drive relentless improvement by leveraging Agile metrics and data-driven insights. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within ARTs. Coach and mentor teams:
Provide guidance and support to Agile teams and stakeholders in adopting SAFe principles, practices, and mindsets. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Process and Tool Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and optimize Agile processes and tools to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance collaboration. Leverage Agile metrics and data-driven insights to identify trends, measure progress, and drive continuous improvement. 5+ years' experience as an RTE or Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a SAFe environment. SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification (SPC 6.0 required. SAFe certifications (e.g., RTE, SM) and project/program management (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent) highly desirable. Expertise in Azure DevOps (or an equivalent tool) for managing the software development lifecycle. Understanding of Azure pipelines or similar tooling for continuous delivery and deployment.
