Aix Admin Level 3

Objective: Administer and maintain AIX servers.Responsibilities:Build and manage clustered systems.Handle backup and recovery.Experience:7+ years in IT and AIX Server administration.Experience with L2 or L3 support.Skills:AIX VMs, PowerVM, Power Firmware, HMC administration.Knowledge of Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN storage, PowerVC.Experience with PowerHA System mirror.Duties:Build AIX servers as per project specifications.Work with Enterprise class backup solution.Maintain software and system patches.Knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, Perl.Install VIO Server, LPARS, AIX through NIM Server.Manage patches and deployments.Troubleshoot server, software, hardware issues.Support Web access, electronic messaging services, maintain a secure system environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
