.DescriptionEngineering #Testing # Software #Electronics #Computing #MechatronicThe ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) Algorithm Test Engineer will be responsible for performing requirements analysis, creating test cases and automate the tests cases as much as possible, in order to efficiently validate the Algorithms developed for ADAS systems and provide useful statistics and information for the development of these algorithms.In ADAS Business Unit, we are developing cutting edge technologies to drive the future of mobility in the world, you will be part of a team that validates these new technologies. With your collaboration you will help Continental to save millions of lives around the world.Main responsibilities:- Analyze requirements and design test cases which thoroughly validate these requirements.- Responsible to write test scripts (in python) to automate tests and processes as much as possible.- Adapt existing test scripts to changes in requirements.- Execute manual and automated tests.- Provide statistical information and functional status to developers, to improve the algorithms.- Report and follow up to defects found in the Algorithms.- Support software developer in root cause analysis when needed.**Qualifications**:Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software, Computer systems or related engineering.- Experience in SW development or test automation (coding/scripting).- Strong knowledge in Python.- Experience debugging code (in visual studio, PyCharm, etc.).- Math and statistics skills.- Understanding of software test case design, and testing concepts.- Critical thinking, problem solving skills, analysis skills, self motivated and quick learner.- Fluent in reading and talking in English.Nice to have:- Knowledge of software versioning using Git, IMS or similar.
