.We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of our state-of-the-art facilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, efficiency, and availability while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory compliance standards.
This is a critical role that demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and exceptional problem-solving abilities.ResponsibilitiesOverall Facility Management: Oversee all aspects of operations, including power, cooling, fire suppression, and environmental controls.Uptime and Maintenance: Implement and enforce preventive maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted service and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to define operations and develop Change Management procedures and tools, SOP, and EOP of regional collocation DC facilities.Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the facility's budget, including capital expenditure plans for infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency.Emergency Response: Establish and maintain comprehensive emergency response and disaster recovery plans.
Lead response efforts during crises.Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with vendors and contractors for equipment, services, and maintenance.
Manage the collocation DCs to ensure vendors are adhering to the SLAs per contractual terms.Technical Leadership: Technical leader managing team and consultants to implement the operations in normal and emergency situations.Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular reports on facility performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.
Use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Participate in equipment failure or power outage-related incident Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA).Innovation and Future Planning: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to future-proof the infrastructure and operations.Position RequirementsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operation management or a similar high-tech facility environment.Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems (e.G., UPS, generators, HVAC, CRAC units), network infrastructure, and fire suppression systems.Able to communicate in both English and Spanish.
