), Warehouse.Job DescriptionJob Title: Material Handler I (Almacenista)Reports Directly To: Lead Material Handler.Job Summary:As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible for driving the tasks of receiving, storing, preparing, and packaging shipments, returns, labeling, reconciliation, and distribution of medications and clinical supplies.
Your role includes ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices, storage and distribution regulations, company policies, and the instructions and procedures of each project.
All logistics operations must be carried out following the specifications and administrative/IT tools required by the company and/or client.Responsibilities:Perform processes for receiving, labeling, and storing received materials.Receive and verify received materials, comparing them with purchase orders and shipping documents.Participate in the distribution of daily tasks for receiving, storage, preparation, and packaging of clinical supplies.Participate in labeling processes following internal procedures.Prepare and send requested materials and/or products to research centers.Store materials in the designated location, ensuring they are properly labeled and organized for easy access.Conduct periodic inventories to ensure the accuracy of records and the availability of required materials.Perform all activities efficiently and safely.Process returns of clinical materials from research sites.Prepare and dispatch for the destruction process of materials.Condition and recondition reusable containers.Prepare and condition components in refrigerated, frozen, and ultra-frozen conditions.Other tasks may be required to meet business needs.Handle controlled substances and special security substances.Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, load lifters).Education Required:High School Diploma.Experience (Technical Knowledge / Experience)At least 1 year of experience in similar warehouse and medication logistics tasks.Knowledge of Excel.No certifications or licenses required.Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:Knowledge of good storage and distribution practices.Basic knowledge of Outlook and Office packages.Highly motivated, diligent, careful, and organized.
