JOB SUMMARY
Performs tasks associated with the physical and virtual (electronic) movement of material(s) within the warehouse or stockroom area. May perform electronic system transactions reflecting such movements as well as support verifications and documenting these movements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs Cycle Counts of WIP.
- Reports Buffer Stock to respective Workcell.
- Provides inventory information to Inventory Analysts.
- Stocks Productive Material in Warehouse Area.
- Performs Geographic material counts.
- Sorts and prepares production material for Material "Pulls".
- Researches discrepancies in production material and finished goods in Shipping and Warehouse Area.
- Places finished goods in Shipping area.
- Processes sales orders of finished goods.
- Receives and verifies incoming prime material.
- Reconcile transfers of material both physically and in electronic system.
- Executes any purges of material.
- Tracks discrepancies between production lines, warehouse, and shipping.
- Certifies and verifies material "pulls".
- Provides follow-up to material "shorts".
- Transfers finished goods.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
