We are looking for a dynamic, **hands-on** leader for our Aluminum screw cap for the wine industry located in Rosarito, Baja California. We are the leader in this industry with high-technology equipment in caps manufacturing and decoration through aluminum offset printing equipment.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the manufacturing process and lead the production team to reach the following goals.
- Focus on the production and technical points.
- Develop/maintain/manage continuous improvement projects
- Safety of the personnel and assets.
- Quality and legality of the product for Mexico and USA.
- Customer-focused, ensuring the on-time delivery of samples and finished products to customers.
- Cost, supervision of direct and indirect costs to stay within budget. Also to propose savings.
- Develop and deliver a training plan for each manufacturing area
- Prepare the annual budget for the different departments. Monitor spending and execute necessary improvements to achieve budgetary objectives.
- Participation in global ops senior mgmt. group led by Vinvention's Chief Technology Officer.
Experiência y requisitos
**Qualifications**
**BILINGUAL**
****VISA (available to travel to Europe and the USA for training)**
**Minimum Experience**:
- 7 years in managing, and leading a production team.
- 5 years working in a Lean and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
**Education**:
- Bachelor's degree, in Engineering, or a related field desirable
- Lean, 6Sigma knowledge, training or certifications preferred.
Particular:
- Knowledge of MRP (Planning)
**Skills**:
- Able to make decisions, and define and guide the corporation on how to improve operations in Mexico.
- Problem solutions, and process improvement.
- Able to work in a fast environment.
