Senior Finance Analyst, MX Marketing and Prime FinanceAmazon Mexico seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member in our Marketing and Prime Finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with stakeholders to develop insights and create tools helping assess investment decisions. You will work closely with finance leaders to develop financial models and analytical insights to assist in evaluating new business concepts, turning insights into operational measurements, and identifying paths to improve overall planning and forecasting process. This role requires cross-functional partnership with product managers, Marketing and Prime team, data scientists, economists, and business intelligence engineers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science).4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.Fluent in both English and Spanish.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).Advanced proficiency in Excel (VBA, array functions, etc.).Experience in Power BI, QuickSight, or other similar visualization tools.Advanced experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis.Highly analytical, detail oriented and keen business acumen; proven ability to manage new ideas and creative solutions and demonstrated experience managing such mechanisms to an end result.Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
